'Something Wicked' crime festival in Malahide

This year's "Something Wicked" Malahide Crime Writing Festival takes place on the October bank holiday weekend of 28th to 30th October.

Alex BarclaySam Blake and Liz Nugent will take part in a discussion chaired by Bert Wright in Malahide Lawn Tennis Club on Friday 28th October at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost €15.

Then on Saturday author Arlene Hunt will join Deputy State Pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan and forensic anthropologist Rene Gapert for "a morning of workshopping murder and evidence to learn to write authentic crime, from the body to the page". It takes place in Malahide Parish Centre and tickets cost €25.

"Something Wicked" is Ireland's only standalone crime fiction festival, and is now in its third year.
