2016 Dublin Greek Film Festival

Nicholas Triandafyllidis's unusual gangster film The Sentimentalist is among the offerings at this year's Dublin Greek Film Festival.

Bourgeois, old, rich and above suspicion, "The Master" lives in a luxurious beachfront villa with his teenage daughter who is kept well protected from the outside world.

But behind the façade of the art lover, he is a loan shark and trader of antiquities in the black market. The Master has two henchmen to do his dirty work, but both have fatal flaws. Both will pay a heavy price for being "sentimentalists".

The Dublin Greek Film Festival runs from 21 to 24 April 2016. It includes features, documentaries, short films and special events. More information on the festival website.
